Concert Series FAQ

Click on the questions below to display the answer.

When does the show start?

Concerts begin at 6pm. Check-in will open a few minutes beforehand.

Where are my tickets?

Our tickets are digital and will not be physically mailed to you. When you arrive, please check in using the name used to purchase the tickets.

Is the concert series accessible for individuals with disabilities?

Absolutely. The Summer Concert Series takes place outdoors at our waterfront venue. However, it's important to note that the waterfront restrooms are not equipped for wheelchair accessibility. If you require accessible facilities, our staff will be more than happy to accompany you to our main Museum facility, where you'll find handicapped-accessible bathrooms. Exclusive waterfront parking is reserved for guests with mobility considerations. For assistance, please don't hesitate to approach one of our staff members.

Is the concert series suitable for kids?

The Summer Sunset Concert Series is open to all ages, providing children are accompanied by an adult. Children under 10 can attend for free, while those aged 11 to 17 are eligible for the membership-discounted ticket rate.

I bought tickets for myself and some friends. What if my friends and I are arriving separately?

That's cool! Please instruct your friends to drop your name at the check-in table when they arrive. And feel free to forward this web page to them so they are ready for the show.

Will tickets be available at the event?

Yes. You can purchase tickets online until 3:30pm on the day of the event. If you miss the online purchase window, don't worry! Additional tickets will be available for sale at check-in starting at 6pm. We accept all forms of payment, so you can choose the one that works best for you.

Can I bring food?

Yes. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks to the concert! Alternatively, delicious refreshments will be available for purchase from our food trucks and caterers. Either way, we want you to enjoy a great picnic experience while you enjoy the show.

Do you sell alcohol?

While we do not sell alcohol, we do allow guests of legal drinking age to bring their own alcoholic beverages to the concert series events. Please note that all open alcoholic beverages must remain on the waterfront property and we kindly ask that you drink responsibly.

Can I bring my own lawn chair?

Absolutely! We will be providing chairs and picnic tables for all concerts. However, you are welcome to bring your own preferred lawn chair if you'd like.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. We love dogs and would be thrilled to have them join you at the concert series, as long as they are well-behaved and kept on a leash. Please be courteous and clean up after your pet, should they leave any droppings behind. In the event that your dog becomes disruptive or reactive, we may need to ask you to move or leave the area, depending on the situation.

Are there bathrooms?

Yes. Restrooms are available for all guests on the waterfront. If you require access to a handicapped bathroom, please let one of our staff members know, and we will be happy to provide you with the assistance you need.

What about parking?

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis for all guests. You are welcome to park in the Museum parking lot along Burnside Street. If the parking lot is full, overflow parking is available on the lawn in front of the Museum. We kindly ask that you take care not to block anyone else's car or access to the lawn. In the event that both the parking lot and the lawn are full, we recommend finding street parking on High Street or Burton Street. Please note that parking on the waterfront is not allowed.

Can I buy tickets to other upcoming shows while I'm there?

Yes! Tickets to future shows can be purchased on our website or at check-in during the concerts.

Can I become a member?

Yes! To maximize your experience, we encourage you to sign up for a membership before purchasing your tickets by clicking here. However, if you purchased a non-member ticket and decide at the show to become a member, we will be happy to credit the difference to your new membership in person.

What if it rains?

Concerts will be held rain or shine. Our waterfront tent will protect you and the performers from the rain during the show.
