Greg Abate, the Bristol-born jazz saxophonist, flutist, and composer, is a highly acclaimed international artist. He is known for his passionate and intense performances, infused with BeBop and sophisticated harmonic chords. Greg will be joined by a stellar lineup of artists, including Ben Cook on piano, Paul Del Nero on bass, and Gary Johnson on drums! With his impressive talent, Greg has earned praise from legendary jazzman Phil Woods who said, "I sleep a lot better knowing there are alto players like Greg Abate." Don't miss this opportunity to experience the energy and vibe of Greg Abate's jazz. In April of 2016, Greg Abate was inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame. (Photo by Judith Potter)
