The 2024 Herreshoff Classic Yacht Regatta will take place Friday-Sunday, August 23rd-25th. The following is a preliminary schedule of events (subject to change).
The annual Living Boat Show will take place on the waterfront following Friday's feeder race from Newport to Bristol with music from local rockers Keats & Company, a cash bar, and food available from Castaway Gourmet. Admission is $20, although competitors with completed regatta waivers are admitted free! Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online here.
Two races are scheduled for Saturday (conditions permitting) followed by post-race cocktails and Saturday evening's prize giving and barbecue dinner provided by Keane's Wood-Fired Catering. One dinner ticket is included in the entry fee. Additional tickets are available for purchase here.
Sunday's program will start with a "hot lap" race around Hog Island which will be followed by a race to Newport finishing off Ft. Adams. Sunday's races will not count toward the CYOA Classic Yachts Challenge Series scores.
Not interested in racing, but want to join the fun? Join us for the 2nd Annual HMM Cruise leading up to the regatta! Enjoy the camaraderie and beautify of classic yachting in this new, relaxingand stress-free event! Cruise registration is $100 per boat and includes one Saturday dinner ticket.
