The 2025 Herreshoff Classic Yacht Regatta will take place Friday-Sunday, August 22nd-24th. The following is a preliminary schedule of events (subject to change).
We will hold our annual feeder race from Newport to Bristol on Friday afternoon with the first warning at 1300 just north of the Newport Pell Bridge.
Two races are scheduled for Saturday (conditions permitting) followed by post-race cocktails and Saturday evening's prize giving and dinner. One dinner ticket is included in the entry fee. Additional tickets are available for purchase online here.
Sunday's program will start with a "hot lap" race around Hog Island which will be followed by a race to Newport finishing off Ft. Adams. Sunday's races will not count toward the CYOA Classic Yachts Challenge Series scores.
Not interested in racing, but want to join the fun? Join us for the 3rd Annual HMM Cruise leading up to the regatta! Enjoy the camaraderie and beautify of classic yachting in this new, relaxingand stress-free event! Cruise registration is $100 per boat and includes one Saturday dinner ticket.
