In consideration of the safety of both our guests and staff, we have made the decision to postpone this week's lecture by Evelyn Ansel due to the anticipated snowstorm. The lecture has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 22nd. If you have already purchased tickets, rest assured that they will be automatically transferred to the new date.

The online webinar version of this lecture is available to all ticket holders, regardless of ticket type. Furthermore, a recording of the presentation will be distributed 2-3 weeks after the event.

Celebrating 50 Years

In 2021, the Herreshoff Marine Museum celebrated its Golden Jubilee — the 50th anniversary of its founding. Throughout 2021, the Museum celebrated five decades of preservation and interpretation of the world-renowned Herreshoff Manufacturing Company and its remarkable founders, brothers John and Nathanael (“Captain Nat”) Herreshoff. The Museum commemorated this yearlong anniversary with programming and special events engaging Herreshoff boat owners around the world, America’s Cup veterans and enthusiasts, and the maritime heritage community at large.
