Our last faux oak plank is in place! Then screwed with small gap between it and garboard, allowing for caulking later. Rick then fits and attaches the transom knee (not seen in picture), and then transom to knee, rib, and strakes.

The rib forms a ledge onto which the strake ends are screwed. This conforms to our drawing 9-11 and #240. It certainly is different than sailboats in our collection where strakes overlap the transom! Wonder if transom should have been rabbeted but that's not what showed on plan or #240.
