On the site of her launch in 1914, and on the centennial of her successful defense of the America’s Cup in 1920, this memorial is dedicated to the generous donors who provided critical support in a time of need. Defined as “admirably purposeful, determined and unwavering in the face of adversity”, the word resolute perfectly describes the Herreshoff Marine Museum and its donors as we weathered the impacts of the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic together.
