The Herreshoff Marine Museum is proud to announce the first annual Sails & Stars Soirée, a reimagined evolution of our beloved Frostbite Bash. For the past fourteen years, Frostbite Bash brought our community together in support of the Museum’s mission, and this new chapter builds on that legacy while shining a brighter light on the true stars of our programs: the young people we serve. Sails & Stars Soirée reflects our commitment to celebrating youth achievement, amplifying their voices, and investing in the next generation of problem solvers.

Each summer, the Herreshoff waterfront fills with the excitement and energy of hundreds of Sailing School students, transforming the docks into a vibrant hub of learning and discovery. Laughter, teamwork, and determination echo across the harbor as young sailors gain confidence on the water and build skills that will stay with them long after the season ends. Throughout the school year, our Boat Shop welcomes students who gain hands-on experience in boatbuilding, craftsmanship, and teamwork, opening doors to future opportunities in the maritime trades. Your attendance at this event helps ensure these programs continue to thrive and allows us to offer scholarships that make participation accessible to more youth.

You can still be part of the celebration by purchasing a pre-event travel raffle ticket, generously sponsored by American Cruise Lines! One lucky couple will win an all-inclusive cruise, complete with accommodations, meals, and onboard experiences. The date and itinerary will be arranged in coordination with the winner and the cruise line, ensuring a personalized getaway.
