The Herreshoff Marine museum is hiring a Summer Boat Building Instructor for 2024. The boat building instructor works with 10 high school students to build a boat over a 5-week period in July and August. This will be the 8^th year that the museum has offered this program through its partnership with the Rhode Island Marine Trades Association.

Qualifications & Skills:

• • College Degree or equivalent
• • Previous boat building or relevant work experience
• • Previous experience teaching and instructing youth
• • Strong leadership ability, work ethic and communication skills
• • CPR and First Aid Certification
• • Highest ethics and background check
