The Herreshoff Marine Museum offers a premier waterfront location for your next special event such as a clambake, business meeting, small conference, corporate retreat, holiday party, regatta, wedding or family reunion. Our facilities provide a beautiful and historic location for your event, amidst dozens of exceptional historic Herreshoff boats at a spectacular waterfront property overlooking Bristol Harbor.
The Museum offers several attractive alternatives for your meeting, social event, or wedding such as the Waterfront, Hall of Boats, A. Sidney Dewolf Herreshoff Room, Aria Gallery and the Conference Room.

Share the astonishing beauty of New England's marine coast and enjoy our unique panoramic view of Narragansett Bay. The Museum's 60 X 90 ft. tent, accommodates up to 300 people for dinner with round tables, 400 with banquet tables. Alternatively, and especially popular is the temporary placement of tents on the large pier suitable for cocktails or dinner for parties up to 60 people. Other facilities of a more permanent nature complete the Museum's outstanding offerings for weddings, rehearsal dinners, formal sit down dinners, clambakes or other functions.
Overnight accommodation at our piers or on a Museum mooring may be booked in combination with entertainment of guests.
Within the Museum, the Aria Gallery is ideal for a lecture or dinner hosting up to 90 guests. It is located amidst astounding boats, models and photographs of the Herreshoffs, New England's foremost nautical family, founders of the former Herreshoff Manufacturing Company and the Museum which replaces it today.
Hall of Boats
The Hall of Boats accommodates as many as 100 guests amidst the unique ambiance of real Herreshoff yachts, some built more than a century ago. Social gatherings, dinners or dances comprise great events in the Hall of Boats. Availability during the Museum's open season is limited.
A. Sidney Dewolf Herreshoff Room
The A. Sidney Dewolf Herreshoff Room, named for the Museum's founder, accommodates up to 90 people by special arrangement for meetings, lectures or dinners.
Our elegant Conference Room is ideal for meetings of 24 guests around our spacious conference table or with arrangement for three individual tables. For business meetings or conferences, there are state-of-the-art provisions for conference calls, Internet, computer services and a large screen for presentations - all adjacent to full kitchen facilities.
