Dan Moretti & Brazilia
July 17, 2025 6:00 pm
Dan Moretti & Brazilia take the stage to celebrate the release of their new album, Live at the Pump House Music Works. This tribute to jazz legend Wayne Shorter blends his iconic compositions with the rhythms of Latin jazz (mambos, cha-cha-chas, sambas, and more). The super group features a stellar lineup of musicians, including Latin Jazz Grammy winner Oscar Stagnaro from Peru on bass, Maxim Lubarsky from Ukraine on piano, Ernesto Diaz from Columbia on percussion, and Steve Langone from Boston on drums. Moretti’s saxophone work at the forefront, weaves intricate melodies and improvisations that honor Shorter’s legacy while exploring new sonic landscapes. Together, they deliver a masterful reinterpretation of iconic pieces, infusing them with fresh energy and rhythmic flair.
