Bill makes final adjustments to the false keel. Rick bolts everything in place and then Dutch bungs the bolt-holes in the false keel and gives everything a coat of sealing shellac.
All is finished, and Steve is back in his office noodling over steam system plans!
Oops, I should have looked more carefully at the plans. All our floor timbers are secured with washers and nuts that protrude, and though we've cut the bolts flush to the nuts, there are four floor timbers where nuts should have been recessed and floor timbers rabbeted to receive bulkheads! Oh, well.... details, details
