The evening pros Ken and Captain Kelly are hard at work. First sanding with 75 and 80 grit with industrial long boards they make quick work of the task, followed by progressively finer grit but no need for finsih sandpaper since we'll be applying thickened shellac (made from shellac crystals and alcohol, and yes the crystals are shellac bug poop left on branches of shellac trees! Wonder how many bugs it takes for a gallon of shellac?)
